Floyd D. Harper age 92 passed away Tuesday May 24, 2005 at Sheridan Community Hospital. He was born May 3, 1913 one of ten children to Charles and Minnie Wade Harper.
Floyd was in the US Army during WW II and served his country in the overseas area of New Guinea. He was a lifetime member of the Greenville V.F.W. Post. Floyd was the owner and operator of the Harper Auto Body Repair Shop until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Laura one daughter Janice and David Heyer of Circleville, Ohio three grandchildren; Daniel and Cindy Heyer, Aaron Heyer and Louisa Heyer two great grandchildren, Gabriel Heyer and Emma Heyer all from Columbus Ohio,a sister Luella and George Germain from Hoschton,Georgia, several brothers in law and sisters in law , nieces and nephews and his favorite 4 legged friends.
There will be no funeral service or visitation. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville .In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Kent County Humane Society,3077 Wilson Dr. NW , Walker MI 49544.
