Virginia L. Selleck, age 68, of Orleans died Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Quality Home Care in Greenville. She was born in Sidney on August 2, 1936 the daughter of Andrew and Dorothy Truman Lamb. She married Frank C. Selleck on July 16 1955 and had worked at Frigidaire for 18 years.
She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Frank of Orleans; their children, Debra Ann Kilduff of Ionia, Frank Andrew and Janet Selleck and Kenneth John and Terry Selleck, all of Fenwick, and Buffy Jo and Brad Burris of Stanton; 6 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 3 step-grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Garnet Selleck of Lowell; her sister-in-law, Darlene and C. Frank Kerns of Lansing, brother-in-law J. Brian Selleck of Bloomfield, New Jersey, and step-mother, Janette Selleck of Greenville; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Vivian Thurber, and her father-in-law, Cleve Selleck.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 1, 2205 at 11 AM at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville with her brother-in-law, J. Brian Selleck officiating. Burial will be in Woodward Lake Cemetery, Orleans.
Visitation will be today from 7-9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to Alzheimer's Association or Sparrow Hospice.
