Theodore D. "Ted" Kamp Sr., age 73, of Gowen died Thursday February 17, 2005. He was born in Grand Rapids on July 9, 1931 the son of George T. and Ann Marie Boetsma Kamp. He married Ann Blouw on July 14, 1951 in Grand Rapids. Ted was a builder for over 30 years, formerly worked at General Motors Fisher Body #1, and was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Greenville. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ann; their children, Ted (Lori) Kamp Jr. of Coral, Michelle Ann Harnish of Grand Rapids, Jeffery L. Kamp of Columbus, OH, and Sandy Cindy Jane Patterson of Grand Junction, MI; 15 grandchildren; his brother, Terry L. (Kay) Kamp of Texas and sister-in-law Jeanne (Don) Sterken of Ada. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Kamp, August 14, 1995. Funeral services will be held on Monday February 21, 2005 from Faith Baptist Church of Greenville. Visitation will be held at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to Faith Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
