Bertha L. Thiebaut age 94 of Greenville, formerly of Manton died Thursday July 28, 2005 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids.
She was born in Ashtabula County Ohio on July 23,1911 the daughter of Bert and Ardella Culver Brigner.
She was married on December 12, 1931 in Manton to Morris Thiebaut. He preceded her in death .She was also preceded in death by her son Richard in 1951 as a teenager and also 2 infants. Her sisters Laura Snider, Lilly Sewell and Katherine Petersen and her brothers Russell Brigner and Delbert Brigner also preceded her in death.
Bertha was a member of the Greenville Bible Methodist Church.
She is survived by her brother Orn Brigner and her brother in law LaVerne Sewell both of Greenville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday August 1, 2005 at 11 AM from Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville with her pastor Rev. Dennis Johnson officiating . Burial will be in Soper Cemetery , Manton. Visitation will be on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given in her name to Greenville Bible Methodist Church.
