Mary L. Cooper age 76 of Bass Lake, Gowen died Tuesday August 9, 2005 at Metron of Greenville. She was born in Greenville on April 3 1929 the daughter of James and Gladys Orvis Jones. Mary was married on November 3 1956 to Paul L. Cooper in Belding MI.
She was formerly employed at Michigan Bell Telephone Co in Greenville and enjoyed working with puzzles, playing cards, reading her books and going to Bingo.
She is survived by her husband Paul, her daughters Jody and Bill Vanderlip of Gowen and Connie and Phil Geer of Weatherford Texas, her grand children, Heather Vanderlip, Heidi and Aaron Phillips, Erik and Trisha Vanderlip, Amy and Ryan Hart , Casey Bergeron and Megan Snyder, great grandchildren, Jordan, Isaac, Noelle, Reese, Hayden and Wyatt, her brothers and sisters, Bob and Darlene Jones Traverse City, Linda and John Ruppert, Fenwick, Marcia and Ed Schmidt of Mt. Pleasant, Roger and Patti Jones of Greenville, sisters in law Reatha Jones of Florida and Eloise Jones of Grand Rapids, Brothers in law Ben Cooper and Jim and Marian Cooper of Greenville, Irwin and Bernice Cooper and Roger Cooper of Cedar Springs and Chuck and Connie Cooper of Sidney and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers ; Danny Jones, Mike Jones and Dick Jones and sisters Betty Opdahl,Maxine Scott and Nylah Howe.
A private service and burial will be held at Rest Haven Memory Gardens in Belding.
