1921 - 2005

Rosemary Ann Coffey age 83 of Greenville died Wednesday August 17, 2005 in Grand Rapids. She was born October 2, 1921 in Grand Rapids the daughter of Frank and Florestine Braunschneider Bockheim. She was married on Oct 6, 1942 to Theodore F. Coffey Jr. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her son John Patrick Coffey in 1980, her daughter Mary L. Smith in 1997 , a daughter in law Cynthia A. Coffey in 1996 and her brother James Bockheim.

Rosemary was a Licensed Practical Nurse working at the Greenville, Belding and Metropolitan Hospitals and also for Porter Hills Retirement Community. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Allendale.

She is survived by her children; Ted Coffey of Langston, Gwen (Mark) Hazzard of Rockford and Angela Marie Fasciano of Belding, her daughter in law Marcia Savage ,

11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, her sisters in law, Eleanore Bockheim of Grandville and Kathryn Mary Schlosser of Wyoming and nieces and nephews.

A Latin Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday August 19 2005 at 2 PM from Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville with Rev. Father Benoit Wailliez as celebrant. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery, Greenville. Visitation will be on Thursday from 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Greenville area Ecumenical Food Pantry in care of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
