Patricia Anne Rood age 56 of Greenville died Friday September 2, 2005 at her home.
She was born in Austin, Texas on July 6, 1949 the daughter of Glen and Juanita Vaughn Poore. On December 3,1967 she married John H. Rood III.
Pat worked at Electrolux for 26 years retiring this year. She was a member of the U A W Local 137 and the Greenville Moose Lodge.
She is survived by her husband John III, their children; Sherry Lynn Rood of Greenville, Tracy Lee and Truman Wireman of Greer S.C. , John H. IV and Jenny Rood of Allendale, Carl Wesley Rood of Greenville and Betty Jean Rood of Belding, her grandchildren; Stephen, Aaron, Adam, Justin, Winona, Derek, Morgan, Shawna,
Kadyn and John H. V. and great granddaughter, Shayla, her sisters and brothers;
Irene and Gayland Pierce of Arkansas, Danny Poore of Grand Rapids, Rebecca and Kenneth Schredegger of Missouri, Glenetta and Dick Mackey of Kent City, Diane and Dave Shelke of Missouri, Charlotte Fuller of Kent City, David and Lisa Poore of Casnovia and Kevin and Lisa Poore of Conklin, her father in law and mother in law, John H. II and Betty Jean Rood of Gowen, her sisters in law and brothers in law, Catherine and Dave Haven of Sheridan, Rick and Maxine Rood of Greenville and Craig Rood of Gowen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Tommy and sister Janice Marie Poore.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday September 6, 2005 at 1 PM at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville with Rev. Fred Van Oefflen officiating. Burial will be in Oakfield Cemetery Greenville. Visitation will be on Sunday 2-5 PM and Monday 2-5 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
