Helen M. Russell age 85 of Greenville died Saturday September 10, 2005 at Spectrum Health United Memorial United Campus Long Term Care. She was born in Sidney, Michigan on March 30, 1920 the daughter of Edward and Hazel Clifford Soss.
Helen was retired from Federal Mogul Corporation where she worked for many years.
Her husband Robert Russell preceded her in death in 1973. She also was preceded by her brothers and sisters; Ruth Soss, Eloise Soss, Marian Filkins Chambers, Betty Barnes, Norman Soss and Ed “Bud “ Soss.
She is survived by her sisters,Alice and Ernie McMeeken of Greenville and Jean and Richard Turner of Troy Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral and committal services will be held on Tuesday September 13, 2005 at 7 PM at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville with her nephew Mr. Philip Bell officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
