Frances Louise EastmanFrances Louise Eastman 89 of Greenville died Wednesday October 5, 2005 at Twin Oaks Retirement Home, Gowen MI. She was born in Greenville on November 15, 1915 the daughter of Everoy and Agnes Wilberg Lucas. She was married in Chicago on November 26,1933 to Raymond Eastman and after almost 50 years of marriage, he preceded in her in death on June 21,1983 and her sisters Marian E. Lucas and Helen M. Lucas also preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, a former commissioner of the Greenville Housing Commission, the Blue Star Mothers serving as President, the Royal Neighbors of America and was a Foster Grandparent with 8CAP and was employed in the office of 8CAP.

She is survived by her four sons; Roger and Sherri Eastman and Larry and Alveretta Eastman of Greenville, Earl Eastman and Raymond Eastman of Flint, 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, her sister Carolyn and Fred Warner of Flint and her brother, Evroy ‘Bob’ and Mildred Lucas of Burton .

A memorial service will be held on Monday October 10, 2005 at 1 PM from Hurst Funeral Home,Greenville with Bishop David Tichelaar of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints , officiating. Burial will be in East Montcalm Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

I worked with Frances at Eight Cap at Turk Lake. She always had a smile for everyone. We used to have many good conversations. Remembering her fondly. Peace be with all her family. Sandy
