What an inspiration George was to all who had the priviledge to know him. Such a faithful servant to God. He was a pillar at Calvary Baptist church for many many years. God blessed George with a permanent smile and warm handshake to go with it. George was very talented in his trade and will be remembered all over Greenville for his accomplishments. My condolences to the family, the church family, and friends. George was truly loved and will be truly missed. Blessings to you all.

Thank you, John, for the message about your Father's passing. It has been a wonderful privilege to have known George and Helen and we can share in the joy of the knowledge that the race they ran so well has resulted in the crown of glory.

It was my honor to have had many conversations with George over the amateur radio airwaves. He was a perfect gentleman on the air that reflected his Christian character. I am sure he will be missed by many of his radio friends across the country as well as locally. Regards, Peter Hansen, W8TWA
