
Ina Packard age 89 of Greenville died at her home Sunday November 6, 2005
She was born in Lansing MI on September 14,1916 the daughter of Roy and Eva Park Jackson. Ina was a graduate of Edmore High School. She was married on February 9, 1946 to Steve E. Packard in Greenville by Rev. Dr. St. Claire Parsons and with her husband was owner / operator of the Steve’s Shoe Service in downtown Greenville for 36 years. She taught private music lessons for the piano and guitar for many years and previously had worked 7 years at the Wolverine Glove Factory in Greenville. She was an avid flower gardener and every year planted large gardens at her home where she lived the past 62 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Steve on December 30, 1990.
She is survived by her family; Eddie and Iva Misner of Greenville, Gayla and Toby Joe Ingraham and Sheila and Craig Crawford , nieces Clara Hansen of Stanton and Betty Lou Snyder of Grattan, special friends, Lois Soloman and Pat Nielsen, her sister in law Irene Packard and step sister Margaret Lumbert of Six Lakes.
Funeral and Committal services will be held on Wednesday evening at 7 O’Clock at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville with Pastor Connie Schatz officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Stanton. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Visiting Nurse Hospice.
