Dorothy Jean Jones age 83 died Monday December 5,2005 at her home in Green Acres Retirement Living. She was born in Detroit MI on June 5 1922 the daughter of Percy L. and Emily Everett Lilley. She married Geoffrey B. Jones on Apirl 15 1946. She is survived by her husband , her daughter Sheila and Gregory Smith of Dade City Florida, sons Dean G. and Janice Jones of Greenville and Glenn D. and Mary Ann Jones of Lawrenceville NJ ,her grandchildren; Ethan and Inca Smith, Katie Jones, Christopher Jones , Emily Jones , David Mellem, Dr.Ann Swartz MD and William Jones and one great granddaughter, Madelyn Smith and her sister in law Alice and True Packman. She was preceded in death by her sisters Elizabeth Morningstar and Mabel Rosen.
A memorial service will be held on January 7, 2006 at 1 PM from the Hurst Funeral Home with Rev. Jerrold T. Jones of the First Congregational Church of Greenville officiating.
