Timothy James Stockman age 49 of Greenville died Wednesday December 14, 2005 in Greenville. He was born February 17, 1956 in St. Joseph MI the son of Harry E. and Beverly J. Hewitt Stockman. Tim graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1974 and attended Andrews University, Frontier School of the Bible and Anderson Baptist Seminary in Georgia. He served as a carpenter, Pastor and teacher. He was a Pastor at Coloma Bible Church, Coloma, MI, Kirk Chapel, Nebraska and Lakeshore Bible Church in Hager Shores, MI and taught at Cornerstone Bible Institute in Hot Springs South Dakota.
He was married in Berrien Center MI on July 26,1980 to Rebecca Ann Collins.
He was preceded in death by his father in law Donald H. Collins and his brother in law
Jeffery Collins.
Surviving are his wife Becky, their children; Sharon and James Peckham of Sand Lake MI , John Mark Stockman and Beth Ann Stockman at home in Greenville, his parents, Beverly and Harry Stockman of Eau Claire, his first grandchild due in January,his brothers; Trent and Cheryl Stockman of Allegan and Barte Stockman of Eau Claire, his mother in law , Mary Davis of Watervliet, sister in law, Renae and Bruce Wyant of Coloma , nephews, Justin, Derek and David Wyant.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 17,2005 at 1 PM from Calvary Bible Church, 3300 Territorial Road , Benton Harbor with burial in Shanghi Cemetery, Eau Claire, MI. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 PM at Hurst Funeral Home , Greenville and from 11 AM to 1 PM at Calvary Bible Church in Benton Harbor. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the family.
