Geoffrey B. Jones age 82 of Greenville died Sunday January 15, 2006 at home in Green Acres Retirement Living Facility. His wife, Dorothy B. Jones died on December 5, 2005.He was born in Detroit on Dec 2 1923 the son of Bernard and Fannie Hinton Jones. Surviving are his children,Sheila and Gregory Smith of Dade City Florida, Glenn D. and Mary Ann Jones of Lawrenceville N.J. and Dean G. and Janice Jones of Greenville. His grandchildren, Ethan and Inca Smith, Katie Jones, Christopher Jones, Emily Jones, David Mellem, Anna Swartz M.D. and William Jones, his great granddaughter Madelyn Smith , his sister Alice and True Packman and nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday February 11,2006 with Rev. Jerrold T. Jones officiating. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post # 101 of Greenville.
