1948 - 2006
 David Gene Hath of Banks Lake, Gowen has passed in to the comforting arms of the Lord on
Tuesday January 24, 2006, at the age of 57, surrounded by his loving family. David, our “Braveheart”, lived a full and amazing life with cancer the last 14 years. David was preceded in death by his Dad and Mom, Ernest and Sarah Hath.(Macigewski) He is survived by his wife and best friend of 37 years, Judy (Dryer) His Step-Mom Agnes Hath and Mother - In Law Dorothy Dryer.. His children whom he was so proud of, Jennie and Sonny Salmons, David and Amber Hath, Angela Hath and Brett Ulanch. His precious little munchkins, Nickalis Salmons and Drake and MayLynne Hath.
David was a graduate of Wyoming Park High School in 1968 and served his country with the U.S. Army, 3rd/68th Armor Division. He was employed by Rapistan for over 34 years. David had a great love of fishing and hunting, which he was able to share and enjoy with his family and many friends. This will provide us with many great stories and memories for years to come.
He was also a loyal fan of the Detroit Tigers, Pistons, and Lions.
David is also survived by his sisters and brother. Dorothy Ross, Sharon Harig, Toni and Brian Postema, Dawn Gorski, Roger Sorensen, Sharon and Alan Supp, and Dolores Sorensen. His brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Mike and Mary Dryer, Mary and John Lundell, Tom and Kim Dryer, John Dryer, and Rich and Cheryl Dryer. Also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
We would like to give a very special thank you to Jodi and Dan of Hospice of Michigan for their kind and compassionate care given to David, and his very special Doctors and friends at Providence Hospital, Southfield Mi., Dr. Ian T. Jackson, Dr. Daniel Pieper, and Dr. Blaise Audette.
Cremation has taken place at David’s request. A Memorial Service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Greenville Mi.,on Saturday January 28,2006 at 2 PM , with Rev.Dr. Harry R. Johnson officiating. The family will meet with relatives and friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider The Craniofacial Fund, Providence Hospital, Southfield Mi., or Hospice of Michigan.

Dave is and was someone i will always remember the one who gave me the nickname Beaner when i was growing up.. i guess i never grew up cuz that name is a still with me and will always be....when i hear someone call me Beaner i can only hear Dave and my dad(Smitty) laughing, and that will always be my very favorite memory...I know that my dad was waiting for Dave with a beer in hand saying I've been waiting for you my dear friend... i remember growing up watching the guys getting ready for their hunting trips like little boys going on a big adventure...well they have had many to remember and for those that were there to share those memories God bless you for being there with them and showing them the best times of there lives...take care, Judy, Jenni, Davy and Angie God Bless you all..Beaner

Judy, I'm so very sorry to hear about Dave. Lisa called me yesterday and told me the news. I'm back in Florida, but if I was home you can be sure I would be at Dave's memorial service. He sure was a fighter.
Nothing I can say will ease the ache in you and your family's hearts right now. You have a great family though and you will all get through this together.
