Mrs. Ruth Anna Allen, age 83, of Stanton, passed away Thursday February 2, 2006 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Hospital. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Wellman Kortes, Norman Kortes; sister, Marguerite Kortes; half-brothers, F.H. Kortes, Frederick Lomberg, Bernie Lomberg; half-sister, Clara Lomberg–Fitzner. Ruth is survived by her husband of 55 years, Edsel; sons, Rickey and Janice Allen, Harold and Leesha Allen; daughter, Jeannie and Stacy; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Ruth’s wishes were for cremation and no funeral services have been scheduled. An inurnment will be scheduled at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Langston. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
