Ms. Tressie A. Hansen, age 93, of Trufant, passed away on Wednesday February 1, 2006. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Milan 'Mike' Hansen, Reuben Hansen, sisters-in-law, Margaret Hansen, Della Hansen, Maxine Hansen,and nephew, Mickey Hansen. Tressie is survived by her brothers, Percy Hansen, Eugene Hansen, Cyril and Mary Jo Hansen., sister Amelia 'Millie' Hansen and many nieces and nephews. Tressie taught several years at country schools before going to Willow Run Bombing Plant to help with the war effort. She returned to her teaching career at Wyoming Park Public Schools after the war. A visitation session was be held at Hurst Funeral Home on Feb.3rd from 3 to 6 PM. There were no funeral services. In lieu of flowers , contributions may be made to the Trufant Rescue Squad.
