Marlou J. Adams of Derby Lake Stanton died Monday February 20, 2006 at Sheridan Community Hospital. She was born in Marion N.C. on Oct 11,1927 the daughter of Robert L. and Blanche Mull Duncan. She was a retired bookkeeper who volunteered her time doing tax preparations for seniors, thru AARP in Stanton and Greenville and was a member of the Quilted Friends at Sheridan Community Hospital and the Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
Sus is survived by her children; Debbie and Wes Rasmussen of Sheridan, MI, Patti Adams and Jim Atwood of New Orleans, Louisiana, Greg and Robin Adams of Walland, Tennessee and Ken and Denise Adams of Ossipee, New Hampshire, her grandchildren; Katie Honeycutt of Maricopa AZ, Laura Rasmussen of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Matt Rasmussen of Bruinswick, Maine, Shaun Dodson of Gray Court, S.C. , Megan Dodson of Greenville, S.C. , Laura Adams and Michael Adams of Walland, Tennessee, Erin Adams and Justin Adams of Jacksonville FL, 3 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Cynthia in 2003 and one brother and one sister.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday February 22,2006 at 7:30 PM from Hurst Funeral Home , Greenville MI with Rev. Scott Lindner officiating. Memorial services will be held on Friday February 24, 2006 at 3 PM from Woodside Church of God with Rev. Dennis Reid officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery , Greenville, S.C.
