My condolences go out to the Simmons family. I starting working with Wally at "Ford's" in 1978. There were many days when Wally was able to bring laughter into the workplace even on the most drab days, I'll never forget. Even though I left the company in 1984, we were able to still remain friends with run-ins at Circle-W in Atlanta, MI during bow-camp and summer visits. I know how much he will be missed, but I also know he'll be in peace within God's house.

Immediately after meeting Wally in 1980 when I transfered into NVH in Bldg. #4 at Ford Motor Co., my life became fuller and richer. Wally's easy demeanor and laughing eye's betrayed his mischevious nature and friendly nature. I am proud to have been part of his "Jackson Gang" and yearly trips to "The 40" to "Empty some brass" as he so accurately put it. I will miss him so very much, as I have the last couple of years since we both retired and moved away fron the Dearborn area. I hope he has found peace and rests in the "Happy Hunting Grounds." May God Bless my dear friend.
