1935 - 2006
Robert Samuel Sigafoose age 70 of Greenville died suddenly Monday April 17, 2006 at his home in Greenville. He was born on September 5, 1935 in New Haven Township, Shiawassee County, Michigan the son of Clare and Josephine Kuchar Sigafoose.
He was a veteran of the US Army and married Carol Skinner on December 17, 1959 in Owosso MI. He attended Smyrna Bible Church and enjoyed gardening and antique tractors and engines. He was a tool and die maker with Electrolux retiring in 2004.
He is survived by his wife Carol of Greenville, their children, Chadwic (Michelle) Sigafoose of Sidney and Kirk (Amy) Sigafoose of Greenville, Ervah Sigafoose of Lake Zurich, Illinois, 6 grandchildren, brother Walter (Mickey) Jones of Owosso, sisters, Kathy Fowler of Elsie, Mrs. Kenneth (Doris) Richards of Jackson, Mrs. Mike (Betty) Deverouex of Chesaning, Mrs. Jim (Debbie) Spiess of Owosso, sisters-in-law, Betty Meyers and Marilyn Sigafoose both of Henderson, several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
His parents, one granddaughter and one brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 20 at 2 PM from Hurst Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Jones officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Smyrna Bible Church or Mid Michigan Old Gas Tractor Association.

My deepest sympathy to all of the family. My hart is sadden for all who knew him.To see him working in the garden, too playing with the old toys to him. Tractors and old gas engines to us. Its nice to know that the gardens in hevan are under some of the best care. For the flowers,fruts and vegies will never be the same.
