Dear family and friends, I have known Jamie for only a few years. I was her mentor for the alumni accounting program at Northwood. I apologize for the lateness of this as I was out of town when the notice was in the paper. Jamie was a beautiful young lady who was willing to work hard to get where she wanted to go. She accepted people for who they were and felt that she could learn something from everyone. She was also very observant! Before we had met in person, but had spoken on the phone, she heard me speaking in a local gas station, came up to introduce herself and asked me "Are you Bridgette? I recognize your voice." We had only spoken once before then. I am sorry that I did not have more time to spend with Jamie, though the times I did were memorable. I was very fortunate to know her. Please accept my prayers and these memories as condolences.

Jamie's smile will always be in our hearts. She was the nicest person I have ever known. This has been hard for all of us, trying to cope with the loss of one of our best friends and trying to console Gordon in whatever way possible.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. My deepest sympathies to you. Jamie was a student of mine and was also my grader for her sophomore and junior years at Northwood University. She was a joy to be around and was loved by all. She was a hard worker with a great sense of humor. Needless to say, she will be missed by all of us. We are all better off because of our memories of our times with her but it will be difficult for us to not have her with us. Again, you have my deepest sympathies. Jeffrey Bennett

Jamie will be incredibly, incredibly missed. I had the opportunity to get to know Jamie very well over the past five years and the more I knew I her, the more I loved her. She was a FANTASTIC person who never ceased to amaze me. Through all the good times and bad in her life, she always kept her strength and sense of humor and kept moving forward. I don't know that I've ever met anyone her age who took such a genuine interest in her family and I'm sure her brothers specifically can be proud of the life she led and the times that Jamie spent with them. She loved them with everything she had and would have done anything for them, I know. I personally cherish all of the memories and good times that her and I shared throughout college. My condolences go out to her friends and family, but everyone should feel blessed that we got to spend the time with her that we did. I love you, James and you will always be remembered.

I am sorry for your loss. Not only was Jamie one of my accounting students but she also worked as my grader during her senior year. She was always up for whatever challenge or assignment I had for her. It's always fun when alumni come back to school for a visit and I will miss not being able to "catch up" with Jamie. Losing a child, sibling, or fiance is not easy and I will keep all of you in my prayers. May memories of your good times together and your faith help you through these difficult times.

I had the privelege of having Jamie in my class at Northwood University. She was truly a genuine person inside and out. Jamie was not afraid to speak her mind and share such wonderful ideas. She was creative, caring and truly beautiful. Jamie will be missed by so very many here on earth - but has been greeted with a smile in heaven. May God bless each of you as you grieve for her. Celebrate her life - she would want that for all of her family and friends.

We are very sorry for your loss. As the ambassador program supervisor, I was Jamie's boss and friend for the four years she was at Northwood. For three years Jamie guided a multitude of campus tours and made hundreds of telephone call on behalf of N.U. Because of her skill, leadership and loyalty, she was named president of the program her senior year. As president, she did an outstanding job. Her leadership had much to do with creating the exciting program we have today. Jamie was a wonderful young women who loved her family. She talked about them often, especially, her grandmother and brothers. Jamie was someone we could always count on. We are very proud of Jamie and her accomplishments. To lose her at such a young age is a real tragedy. We at Northwood will miss her. We send our condolences and prayers to the entire family. Dave TerBurgh Northwood University
