Shirley Ann “Traxler” Derosha age 67 of Lincoln Lake, Gowen died at home Wednesday June 28, 2006. She was born in Saranac, MI on December 28, 1938 the daughter of Lyle E. and Esther A. Farrell Sitzer. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Ron and Larry.
She was employed by the former Frigidare Refrigerator Co in Greenville and was also a school bus driver in Cedar Springs, a former member of the Moose Lodge and was a Grand Rapids Press Santa Claus Girl.
She is survived by her fiancé, Donald Evans, her children; Donald and Brenda Traxler of Wyoming, Sandra and Terry Eding of Pierson and Ted Traxler and Carol Lee Olmstead of Gowen, grandchildren,Andy, Jason, T.J. , Trisha, Jacki and Jodi and 3 great grandchildren, her brothers, Dick Gerette of Yankee Springs, Tom Gerette of Grattan, Dan Gerette of Lowell , Jerry Stizer of Grand Haven and Roger Sitzer of Coopersville.
Memorial services will be on Saturday July 1, 2006 at 11 AM from Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville with Rev. Dr. Harry R. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Grand Rapids. Visitation will be Friday from 1-3 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Hopice of MI
