Charles Stanley Dickinson age 81 of Greenville died Monday July 3, 2006 at Metron of Greenville after a brief illness. He was born in Greenville on April 6, 1925 the son of Erwin and Daisy Pearl Perry Dickinson. He retired from the city of Greenville with 28 years of service , was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the Holiness Gospel Mission Church in Greenville.
His brothers Floyd and Wayne Dickinson and sisters, June Stillwagon and Florence Holsinger preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sons, Orville D. and Darlene Dickinson and Charles S. and Vic Dickinson all of Sheridan, his daughters, Carol Ann Hatch and Rebecca and Harold Clarke all of Greenville and Norma Lea and Richard Berles of Ravenna, 14 grandchildren 28 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, his sisters , Ida and Raymond Stillwagon of Florida and Marvel Lang of Greenville, brothers, Erwin ‘Bud’ and Barbara Dickinson and Lyle and Bernice Dickinson all of Greenville, Clayton and Edith Dickinson of Coleman and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 6, 2006 at 2 PM from Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville with Pastor Herbert Smith officiating. Burial will be in East Montcalm Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
