I am so sorry to hear of Homer's passing. I had forgotten about him working at the school, but reading that brought back some good memories. I also remember him throughout my childhood at St. Thomas. Homer was a big part of the community and will be greatly missed!

Lois, Lana & Ron; Sorry to have learned of your fathers passing. Mona never called, it wasn't until I was checking out the Hurst website that we knew about it. I know that you have been so busy with all the things going on. Keep your memories of your dad close to you heart, I know you have many and have had many good times with one another. Thank-you to for looking and taking care of Mona. We call her "Our other Mother" she has been a dear friend that is priceless! Our sympathies to each of you. I did not know Homer personally. However, my father (Leon "Pete" Petersen) was also born in 1912 and raised in Trufant. And, if he were alive today, would be there(in person) to share in the family's grief. I believe in his absence, it is my place to send condolences to Homer's family. May you remember all the good times. Sincerely, Judy Reusser
