Jeanette Rose Christensen age 73 of Greenville died suddenly Thursday evening at the Emergency Room of Spectrum Health United Memorial United Campus Greenville. She was born in Greenville the daughter of Herbert and Helen Jensen Dennis on March 11 ,1933. She was a graduate of Greenville High School in 1953 and was married to Wilbur W. Christensen on September 27, 1958 by the Rev. Dr. St. Claire Parsons in Greenville. She was preceded in death by her father Herb on June 11 ,1990, her sister Betty J. Paulsen on April 6, 1999 and her mother Helen on October 8, 2001.
She is survived by her husband Wilbur, their children, Robert and Theresa Christensen of Greenville and Penny and Brian Little of Trufant. Also survived by grandchildren; Tammy, Kandi and Robbie Christensen, Benjamin and Alyce Nisonger and Michael and Josif Galarneau, 5 great grandchildren, nephews, Rick , Ron and Randy Paulsen and families, Aunts, Dorothy Button of Belding, Thelma Jensen and Genevieve Barnes of Greenville, brother-in-law , Jerry and Carolyn Paulsen of Evart and several cousins.
Funeral and Committal services will be held on Sunday September 3, 2006 at 1:30 PM from Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville with Rev. Dr. Harry R. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association.
