William Andrew Shelest Sr. age 57 of Fenwick died at home Sunday September 24, 2006. He was born in Greenville on March 11, 1949 the son of Andrew F. and Delores E. Zschoerner Shelest. He was employed at Electrolux for 17 years and enjoyed swimming, fishing and bike riding. He was preceded in death by his parents

Surviving are his children, Della Vliet of Encinitas, California, Tammy Shelest of Belding, William A. Shelest Jr. of Fenwick and Melissa Halfacre of Ithaca, grandchildren; Mitchell, Jennifer, Nichole, Amber, Heather, Brock, Danny and Matthew and great granddaughter, Faith, his sisters Joanne and Jed Bonzelaar of Stanwood and Diane and Gordon Goodwin of Sheridan .
Visitation will be held at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville on Thursday September 28 from 6-9 PM with a graveside service on Saturday September 30 , 2006 at 3 PM at Evergreen Cemetery, Sheridan with Rev. Dr. Harry R. Johnson officiating
