1914 - 2006
 Eleanor H. Staats age 92 formerly of Grand Rapids passed away December 21, 2006 at Our Place Cares in Greenville. She was born on November 7,1914 in Homestead PA. Eleanor is survived by her daughter Louise (Mrs.Don Magruder) of Tulsa OK and her son Louis (Laura) of Belding, grandsons Jeb Magruder (Tulsa OK), Cody (Missy) Magruder (Abilene TX) and three great grandsons, Austin, Colton and Christopher. Her husband John C. Staats preceded her in death December 4, 2001. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday December 26, 2006 at the Chapel at Westminster Presbyterian Church 47 Jefferson Ave SE Grand Rapids. |

Louise and the rest of the family, we are so sorry for the loss of your momma. She was a great lady and I always enjoyed being around her so much. She had a terrific sense of humor. I know you will miss her. My prayers will be with you and your family. Love, Jeanie

My name is Kristin and I worked at Hearthstone Assisted Living a few years ago and got to know Eleanor very well. I was saddened to read of her passing in the paper. She was such a sweet, wonderful lady and I know she will be missed. Being the holiday season makes your loss that much harder, but I pray the Lord's peace on your family during this difficult time.
