Nicos Georgiades age 73 of Greenville died at home Tuesday evening January 9,2007. He was born in Limassol Cyprus on January 31 1933 the son of George Georgiades and Katina Panayi. He immigrated to England and was a member of the British Royal Army serving in Malaysia. He worked as a mechanic for many years and later came to the United States and Greenville and worked at R.J. Tower Co for over 20 years retiring in 1993 and he was a member of his local union.
His parents and his brother Michael preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children; Leo Georgiades of Hastings England, Tommy Georgiades of England, Jennifer and Mark Morter of Cypress Texas, Michelle Dewey of Pierson, Nicos Georgiades and his fiancé Jacqueline of Pierson and Christopher Georgiades of Trufant, grandchildren; Justin, Cameron, Katelyn, Kaylee, Tristen, Nicos Jr.Chloe, Austin, Dayzi, Luke,Matthew and Ricky,his sister Zoe and David Kelly of Greenville, brother Peter Georgiades of England and his beloved niece Kathy Georgiades and all of the family in England.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 13, 2007 at 2 PM from Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville with Rev. Jerrold T. Jones officiating.
