Harold “Dick” Humphrey age 75 of Greenville died Friday March 2, 2007, after a short convalescence at Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. He was born in Cedar Springs Mi on February 2, 1932 the son of Herbert and Bernice Baker Humphrey.
Dick was retired from the former Gibson Refrigerator Co. and was a veteran of the US Army serving in Korea. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 101 of Greenville, the VFW Belding Post and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles of Greenville.
He was married to Marilyn J. Wagner on August 14, 1976. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Steven Mc Millan in 1999, a daughter, Susie Humphrey and his sister Sandy Hulbert in 2000.
Surviving are his wife Marilyn, children; Lynn Humphrey of California, Scott Humphrey of N.Y., Beth Emerson of California, William McMillan of Arkansas, Mike Humphrey, Terry and Sheryl Humphrey, Tony and Robin Humphrey and Angela and Eric Haeck all of Michigan, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sister , Judy and Roger Becker and brother Denny and Joan Humphrey all of MI, his mother-in-law, RoseMary White of Greenville, brother-in-law, Larry Hulbert, and Marilyn’s siblings; Geraldine Wagner , Warren and Tina Wagner of Belding, Gordon And Terri Wagner of Greenville, Ken and Jamie Wagner of Arkansas, Marjorie Anderson of Ludington and Teresa and John Chenoweth of Lakeview and many nieces and nephews.
Family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society or Grand Rapids Home for Veterans
