To the relatives of John Moran Folks, I will keep this short but I could run on for several lines. I started working at Gibson's/Hupp/WCI/Frigidaire/Electrolux in Greenville in 1969. During my first year there I went on nights for awhile and was in charge of the stock supply for the assembly operations. John was in charge of the shop on nights at that time. As I said earlier there are several rememberances from that time and subsequent periods when I worked there. I eventually went on to be in charge of all purchasing for Electrolux North America in the early 90's. Now that I've given you a little background I would like to tell tell you why I'm writing. John was one of the best operations guys I worked with in Greenville. I always knew he would give me his true feelings about what was going on (even if I wouldn't like them) and I could count on him being right the VAST MAJORITY of the time. I considered John a friend even though our primary contact was within the walls of the Greenville plant. I admired John as a person and as a leader. In my heart he will be missed. God bless, Gerry Magers PS: My wife and I were out of town in Minnesota during the period of John's death or we would have attended the memorial and funeral.

It's a wonderful memorial to your father. As a member of the Griffith/Moran family, I have many memories of John. Although we didn't see as much of him after the move to Michigan from Ohio, the Moran family's annual visits to Columbus were always welcome and fun ones. As many have said at different times, my father, Bernie Griffith, and John were more like brothers than cousins. I miss both John and Lois, and you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Ronda

I am Kristin Williams Sister-in-Law. I did not know Mr. Moran but from what Kristin has told me and Lori has told me he was a wonderful, loving Father and Grandfather. He is now in Heaven, out of pain and smiling down on everyone. Now you have another angel watching over you. I wish I was there to give Kristen and Lori a hug but just know I am thinking of you and your family and you are in my prayers. Love, Teri

Daun, I'm sorry to hear of John's passing. Please accept my sympathies. It seems that I've known him forever. I first met him when I was 10 years old and my Dad took me to work with him on a Saturday. My Dad was a foreman at the time and John was over him. Anyhow, I am sorry for your loss. Leslie
