Ruth Nellie Peters age 90 formerly of Taylor MI died Friday Thursday April 19 2007 at Metron of Greenville. She was born in Detroit MI on February 13 1917 the daughter of William and Constance Wizgird. She was married in Detroit on September 4, 1937 to Laurence M. Peters and he preceded her in death on January 1, 2004. Her son Dennis Peters preceded her also on March 18, 1969 and her son-in-law, Andy Andrzejewski preceded her on November 20, 2004 and her brother Victor Wizgird on December 15, 1998.
She is survived by her daughter Sue Andrzejewski of Gowen MI her grand children Brendon (Teena) Peters Raymond (Kate) Weigel IV Brittanie Weigel , great grandchildren Sam and Olivia Peters, her sister Constance Daly of Redford and sister in law Gertrude Wizgird of Saline.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 25 at 7 PM with a visitation from 4-7 PM at Martenson Funeral Home, 10915 Allen Road, Allen Park MI.In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the White Pine Library, 106 E. Walnut, Stanton MI 48888 or Metron of Greenville Activities Department 828 E. Washington, Greenville MI 48838.
