 Carol Ann Oosdyke age 70 formerly of Greenville MI died Thursday June 14, 2007
At Bay Medical Center, Bay City MI. She was born in Empire, MI on December 3, 1936 the daughter of Orvald and Mary Hoffman Olsen. She was a graduate of Maple City- Glen Lake High School and retired from the payroll department of Extruded Metals in Belding, MI. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Bay City, former member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Greenville and was known as a hard worker, an eager visitor and was loved by her family. She was married to Joseph Stanley on December 3, 1960 and he preceded her in death on June 14, 1983. Her parents also preceded her in death.
She was blessed with a loving marriage to Richard L. Oosdyke on October 9,1993 and together they enjoyed living in Michigan and Florida.
Surviving are her husband Richard, her daughters, Lisa Stanley of Bay City and Lori Stanley of Orlando Florida, Richard’s children, Richard “Chip” and Marti Oosdyke of Muskegon, Tom Oosdyke of Rockford and Christine Oosdyke of Greenville, her siblings, William and Linda Olsen ,Gerald Olsen, Lorraine and Edward Zeintek, Barb and Ernie Zeigler all of Maple City , Donald and Joan Harriger and Versel and Charlotte Harriger of Empire, Richard’s siblings, Ruth Burkholder of Belmont and Thomas and Linda Oosdyke of Rockford and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday June 16, 2007 at 11 AM from Mt Calvary Lutheran Church Greenville with Rev. Paul Theiss and Rev. Jeffrey Wilhelm officiating. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Greenville. Visitation will be on Friday June 15 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to St. Paul Church Bldg Fund, Hospice or American Cancer Society.

Dear Chris & family,
So sorry to have learned of your mothers passing. We used to play alot together when you lived on Montcalm Street. Many great memories of the times we spent together. Roger and i are traveling and just received the news of Carols death.We are so sorry for all of you .She was wonderful person and she put up a great battle...we always loved when we could spend time with the two of you.
