1939 - 2007
 Barbara Ann Martin age 68 of Greenville died peacefully at home Thursday September 6, 2007. She was born in Greenville August 23, 1939 the daughter of Louis R. and Lucille W. Palmer Jones. Her father preceded her in death in 1988.
Barb was married in Greenville on September 6, 1958 to Roger G. Martin. They began their 49 years together loving their family and friends with her enjoyment of the outdoors and activities of boating , bowling, camping especially at Lake Michigan and in Florida.
She was a former member of the Child Study Club in Greenville and always involved with the adventures of her children and their families. She was also a member of the Gulf Stream Yacht Club of Boca Raton Florida.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and a dear friend to all her family and many friends and left this world knowing her love to them was readily returned to her.
She is survived by her devoted husband Roger and two adored and loving children, Michael and Peggy Martin and Nancy and Kevin Martin all of Greenville, also her grandchildren, Tommy and Kristina, Lydia, Molly,and Emily Martin , Mitchell and Marissa Owen, her mother Lucille Jones of Greenville, sisters; Deanna and Larry Corwin of Greenville and Lena Mattson of Gowen and brother Ronald and Elizabeth Jones, Greenville, her husband’s family, Kenneth and Shirley Martin of Belding, Linda Boyce of Greenville, Mary Martin of Sheridan, Denise and David Jacobsen of Greenville and Mike and Sue Russell of Ada , her step mother-in-law, Shirley Higgins of Greenville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday September 9, 2007 at 1:30 PM from Hurst Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 7 to 8:30 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Spectrum Health Blodgett oncology unit.

Oh Nancy--I am hugging you in my heart. I know that all of you will miss her, but you will eventually find great peace, knowing that Mom's courageous fight is over---and that she is with God, where all is new again. I'm sorry I didn't know earlier--I would have been there! Ann
