Elizabeth Leaf age 78 of Gowen, formerly of Greenville and Clarkston died at home Friday September 28, 2007. She was born in Mitchell, South Dakota on January 10, 1929 the daughter of Lawrence and Margaret Spader Neises. She married Walter Richard Leaf in Bloomfield Hills MI on March 31, 1951. For many years they resided in Clarkston where Elizabeth worked for Clarkston News and also as a sales representative in Real Estate. She also worked in Greenville for Westdale Realty.
She is survived by her husband Walter, their children; Richard T. and Sally Leaf of Grand Rapids, Charles E. and Kathy Leaf of Missouri, David A. and Lauri Leaf of Gowen, Diane E. Ritter of Greenville and Christopher J. Leaf of Lake Orion MI. her grandchildren; John Leaf, Matt Wallace, Jennifer and Matt Card, Michael Ritter, Timothy Ritter, Christopher Leaf and Zachary Leaf, her sisters Rita Wisong, Pat Willett, Ilene Croswell, her brothers Bill Neises and Larry Neises and several nieces and nephews.
Three of her siblings preceded her in death.
No funeral services will be held at this time. Cremation has taken place with a memorial service to follow at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of your choosing.
