1932 - 2007
 Michael George Willard age 74 died Friday November 16, 2007 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus Grand Rapids MI. He was born in Detroit, MI November 19, 1932 the son of Frank and Mary Blidar Willard. Mike was a graduate of St. Rose High School in Detroit where he and his brother played football while being encouraged by is father a former Pro football player. He graduated from University of Detroit after serving in the US Army. On April 30, 1955 he married Vera L. Robertson in Detroit.
He worked many years as a personnel manager with Federal Mogul Corp and later was a real estate agent with Brandywine Realty in Greenville. He was a devoted member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Greenville where he was active with the school, the lectionary study group and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife Vera of Greenville their children, Michael G. Willard Jr. of Hudsonville and Linda Ann and her husband “Blue” Resseguie of Pullman MI, his grandson, Gavin Michael Willard and his friend DeAnna Michael of Holland, his brother Frank Michael and Judy Willard of Myrtle Beach S.C., his wife’s family, Robert and Isobel Robertson of Novi and Patricia Ann and Richard Lavolette of Dimondale and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 AM Monday November 19, 2007 at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father Phil Salmonowicz as celebrant. Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery, Greenville. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Charles School, American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association |

Vera,
So sorry about the loss of Mike. How precious are the memories of our visits to you and you to us. How precious are the promises found in the Bible that assure believers in Jesus of our eternal home in heaven when we leave this life. May you find solice in God and His word at this time.
