I knew of Dave from Gibson's. I never worked personally with him, but knew him on a friendly basis. He always had a smile for everyone. I know he was working hard toward starting a new career and I was trying to assist him with that. I saw Dave as someone who cared for his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Prayers and comfort to you.

Just know that your father and brother are with their Lord cheering you on as you embark on your life journey. I will pray for you and your family so that you may find strength to move forward in the days and months ahead. Sincerely, Terry Craven

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Dave was a wonderful co-worker who was the go-to guy for everyone. In his quiet way, he always helped when help was needed, and made work fun. He knew when an ice cream cake was just what the department needed, and never failed to deliver. I have heard from more Michigan people in the last few days than in the previous year because he touched so many lives.

Vicki, I am so sorry to hear of Dave's death. It was such a shock to me. I golfed with him a few times at Holland Lake. I subbed for one of the regular guys on the foursome for the scholorship program for MCC's nursing program. Dave had a deep love and respect for you and your family. He was very proud of the life you had built together. I cannot imagine your loss and want you to know that so many of us send you our thoughts and prayers. Thinking of you.

Vicki, Doug, Julie & Amie- Dave was a true friend. He would give you the shirt off his back; and did many times for us. We are more than honored to call him our friend, he was more like family. Your family stood as an ideal for the rest of us. Dave loved you all and made it clear to the rest of us how important you were to him. Please know that you are in our thoughts, and we love you

As a community, we have lost another really good guy. I always have been a fan of the Seymour family from our Little League games all the way thru high school activities. I will always miss Kevin and his million dollar smile. Thru Kevin I always had the greatest respect for his Dad and Mom because of what a great young man Kevin was. I told Dave at Kevins funeral, that he should have written a book on fatherhood. One thing that I know for sure, the Seymours will survive this as they are a very stong family and that's what it takes when tragedy stikes. Love to you all.

Dear Vicki, Doug, Julie and Amie; I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It seems like yesterday that I heard Dave, with his sense of humor, telling me that he wasn't much of a gambler at Kevin's 1st annual fundraiser for the Kevin Seymour scholarship fund. May God comfort you, and guide you through the fog until the light warms you again.
