Robert K. 'Bob' DuMond age 69 of Lincoln Pines Gowen died at home Saturday December 15,2007. He was born in Grand Rapids MI on July 21, 1938 the son of Howard E. and Emma H. Pretzel DuMond and was a graduate of Greenville High School with the class of 1956. He married Marilyn M. Sweetland in Greenville on November 10, 1956 and was the owner of DuMond Cement Construction Co for many years. He served with the Michigan National Guard for 8 years.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn , his son Robert Jr. and Brenda DuMond of Greenville, his daughter LeeAnn and Tom Sutherland of Brighton MI , grandchildren, Jason DuMond of Chicago, Heather DuMond, Grand Rapids,Emalee(Sutherland( and Justin Rose, Canton MI, Elisa Stutherland and Steven Whetston , East Lansing, great grand daughter, Taylor , sister Louise and Art Harding and brother Howard and Nancy DuMond of Lake Wales Florida.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday December 20 2007 at 1 PM from Hurst Funeral home with a visitation with the family on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to 1st Presbyterian Church of Brighton or Hospice of MI.
