
Wyman Everett Parker age 81 of Greenville died suddenly at his home in Greenville on Friday December 21, 2007. He was born in Nelson Township, Kent County, MI on May 6, 1926 the son of Lee and Leone Bremmer Parker. Wyman was a veteran of WW II serving in the US Army. He was a life member of the V.F.W. Lester J. Sitts Post # 5065 of Sheridan and retired from Northland (Ranney Refrigerator Co.) after many years of service. He married Joy J. Russell in Greenville on April 5, 1963. His brother Ronald Parker preceded him in death in 1996 and daughter Vicki Cazier in 2003.
He is survived by his wife Joy of Greenville, his children, Darlene and Terry VerDuin of Caledonia, Cindy and Art Byington, Brenda and Terry Jones, Bob Palethorpe, Angie and Jim Thomason all of Greenville, Kathy and Mike Graham of Owosso and Linda Mumford of Mansfield TX, 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, his sisters; Esther Heiss, Wanda and Bill Morris, Doris and Lyle Martin all of Cedar Springs, Donna and David Newton of Pierson, Edith and Dale Johnson of Kent City, Lois and Curt Phillips of Sand Lake, brother Kenneth and Susie Parker of Byron Center and Max Parker of Grand Rapids and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday December 29, 2007 at 1 PM from the chapel of Hurst Funeral Home with Carl Gruno officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association
