Julia Anne Hoeflinger Julia Anne Hoeflinger age 83 of Greenville died Saturday January 19,2008 at Our Place Cares, Greenville. She was born in Detroit, MI on June 19,1924 the daughter of Charles C. and Ethel M. Bressler Barnes. She married the Rev. Francis A. Hoeflinger in Lansing on June 21, 1947 She was educated at Michigan State University and was a public school teacher in Cadillac and Greenville MI retiring from Baldwin Heights Elementary and was a member of Michigan Education Association and Per Gradus Club in Greenville. She was an active member of St. Paul Episcopal Church where her husband served as the Priest and the ECW (Episcopal Church Women).

Her husband preceded her in death on September 11,1989 and also her grandson Karl Humphries who preceded her in 2007 and her sister Elizabeth Delany.

She is survived by her children; James F. Chink and Kathy Humphries Hoeflinger of Durham, NC, Paul C. and Sue Hoeflinger of Greenville and Julie Anne and Willy Dunne of Homer, Alaska, grandchildren, Analise Hartnett of New York City, NY, Brad Hoeflinger and Gregg Hoeflinger of Greenville.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday February 2, 2008 at 11 AM from St. Paul Episcopal Church with Rev. Father John Kirkman officiating. Inurnment will be in the Church Columbarium. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul Episcopal Church, Greenville.

I am very sorry for your loss, Mrs. Hoeflinger was my elementary teacher when I was in school some 30+ yrs ago. She was a very nice lady, and truely brightened my life. She will be missed!
