
Beverley Maxine Fisher, formerly of Greenville, passed away Wednesday January 30, 2008 at St. Anns Home in Grand Rapids. She was born on a ranch in South Dakota to parents Ivan and Gladys Pray on November 21, 1927 who preceded her in death. Beverley spent her childhood years there while being raised by her grandmother.
In 1947, she married Donald Fisher while he was stationed at the Air Force base in South Dakota. After spending a few years there, Donald and Beverley moved to Greenville where they raised their three children.
Beverley was employed at the Fisher body Sewing Division of G.M. on Alpine Ave. in Grand Rapids for 28 years retiring from there. Some of her hobbies in life were her family camping trips, numerous bowling leagues and square dancing. She also was heavily involved with her local union in many activities helping those in need.
She is survived by her son, Donald and his children, Jason and Tammy Fisher and their children; Breadan, Ryan, Tayah and Brocke, Wade and Elizabeth Fisher and their children; Paige and William and Teague Fisher and Stephanie.
Son, Ronald and his children; Jill Kerr and her children; Paige and Leslie Kerr, Trenton Van Wagoner and Neal and Mandy Fisher and their daughter Kyah.
Daughter, Cherilyn and Larry Caverley and their children; Tammy and Eric Sorensen and their daughters, Kayleen and Hannah and Matthew and Kimberly Caverley and their children, Ashley and Brendan , her brother-in-law Ken and Gwen Fisher and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 2, 2008 at 1 PM from Hurst Funeral Home with Rev. Father Phil Salmonowicz officiating. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Anns Home, 2161 Leonard NW Grand Rapids MI 49504.
