My heart is saddened to hear of Yoshi's passing. I was so often welcomed to the Hulbert home and enjoyed Yoshi's cooking, her spirit, kindness and always admired her strength. She has forever made an imprint on my life. My thoughts and prayers are extended to her family who must be deeply missing her. May your family and friends help you through this difficult time, God Bless.

My condolences to all the family of our beautiful Yoshi. Her warmth and true caring for everyone will be missed. It has been a pleasure to know her and to be a part of her life. She and I laughed alot and giggled about our private jokes. She loved her family so very much and always thought of them first and foremost. I love you, Yoshi, and will miss you till we meet again. It was our privilege to know Yoshi. Even though we saw her only occasionally, she found a place in our hearts, and we will always remember her loving personality--and wonderful cooking. No one could ever be hungry when she was around. Our wish for all her family is to know that she is now in a place to take care of all of you as you took care of her when she needed it. Don't forget to ask her for help and support on those days when sadness surrounds you. I truely believe that she will send strengh to all of you. With love, Don and Veronica Henrikson

Yoshi was my surrogate mother. When I was a senior at Greenville High School my biological mother abruptly moved to Lansing. Yoshi and Sanda opened their hearts and home to me. Yoshi provided such love, guidance, support, and was nurturing to me during this time of need. She fed me numerous meals and continued to invite me over for dinner even when I moved into my own place. (She said that I needed to fatten up and made it her personal mission.) She kept a watchful eye upon me and closely monitored whom I befriended, dated and eventually married. She loved my children and husband, always making us feel so welcome. Throughout my life, people have assumed that I was a blood relative of the Hulbert Family. I am honored to have loved and known Yoshi. I feel that God has connected us by our hearts forever. I am eternally grateful for everything she and the Hulbert family have done for me. Yoshi will be missed but she had made an imprint on my heart forever. Love, Olga Long
