Kimberly Kaye Schultz Click for Condolences      Printable Version
1968 - 2008

Kimberly Kaye SchultzOn April 9th, 2008 Kimberly Kaye Schultz, age 40, unexpectedly left us to be with her Lord.

Kim was born on January 15th, 1968 in Greenville, Michigan to Norman and Bonnie Schultz. She attended and graduated from Lakeview High School in 1986.

Kim proudly received her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University in 1991. In 1997, Kim relocated to Knoxville, Tennessee. She was employed at Paetec, Inc. for the past 8 years as an East Coast Account Manager and attended Calvary Baptist Church.

The highlight of her life was her beautiful 18 month old daughter, Elizabeth Margaret. Along with being a wonderful mother, Kim enjoyed traveling, especially to New York City with her mother and friends.

She will be remembered by her friends and family as not only a generous and loving soul but also as someone who had the ability to make people laugh with her witty sense of humor.

Kim is preceded in death by her grandparents Percy and Margaret Hansen of Trufant, her father Norman Schultz, and her brother R.L. (Rusty) Schultz of Trufant. She is survived by her mother Bonnie Kay Schultz of Trufant, daughter Elizabeth Margaret of Knoxville, brother Scott & Judy Schultz and special niece BreAnna of Sand Lake, sister Theresa (Tinker) & Charlie Pinkelman of Cedar Springs.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM and Funeral time will be Wednesday at 2 PM from Hurst Funeral Home with Tony Dillion officiating. Interment will be at Little Denmark Cemetery in Gowen, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Elizabeth Margaret Schultzs education fund.

I feel so blessed to have known Kim, even just working across the hall from her (in Knoxville). I miss hearing her laugh, but I know she's in Heaven watching over her precious Elizabeth, as well as the rest of her beloved family & friends. You all continue to be in my thoughts and in my prayers.

I work for PAETEC Inc. at the Charlotte,NC location and worked lots of Kim's orders and spoke w/ her a few times. It is very sad news about the outcome of the situation. Once we were informed of her hospitalization, I said a short prayer for her. I prayed from time to time for her to make a good recovery but the Lord had better plans for her. Even though I did not know Kim like most others, she will be greatly missed by many that were associated w/ her. May God bless and comfort the Shultz family and friends.

Tinker, Bonnie, Scott, Judy and Family. I was so sorry to hear of Kim's passing. I remember Kim as being a very strong person and although she was younger I remember when she played softball and she would hit one homerun after another. I saw her last summer with your Uncle Bill out at Camp. She looked great and in talking with her she sounded great and it was obvious she was very successful. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. God Bless!
