I enjoyed working with Gary at GE and Lockheed Martin for a period of over 30 years and always valued his friendship, council, patience and positive outlook. I personaly will miss him very much and speak for the GE Volunteers he worked with for all of the valuable time he contributed to our many projects. And I remember that he was the only one of us who was smart enough to bring his knee pads to Bonner when we painted yellow warning areas all over the sidewalks and walkways. Our thoughts and hearts go out to Gloria and his family.

I know there are several kids at Bonner Elementary who are going to have fun with science and math due to the support Gary gave to the Bonner Science and Math program. I enjoyed working with Gary on this activity, and I know all the other Elfuns in the program join in thanking him for his efforts. We will miss him a lot. Gene Gilliland

Gloria and family, I was so saddened to hear of Gary's passing. I have not seen either of you since we graduated and now can see how important that contact really is. I am also sorry that I am obligated on Monday evening and all day Tuesday so will not be able to come up to Greenville for the service or visitation. Please accept my apology and condolences.
