Dearest Family of Carl, Thank you so very much for sharing Carl with us at the Area Agency on Aging of West Michigan. Having worked alongside him on the Executive Board of AAAWM, I knew and relied on his wisdom many times. He will be so deeply missed by all of us. His knowledge of the needs of Senior citizens in Montcalm County made him an expert in this area. He always challenged us to make good decisions on behalf of those in need. I knew of his involvement in the Forgotten Man Mission and deeply appreciated all of his efforts in that area. He was admired ,respected, and loved by many. He fought the good fight for those less fortunate than himself and he did it to the Glory of God. Hugs to you all,

You are in my thoughts and prayers, everyday! I wish we could've made it back to be with everyone at this time, but it was just to difficult. I want the entire family to know though, that they are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you. Sammi and Family

mom a prayer for understanding, lord help us put our faith in you and feel your presence near through each moment of uncertainty, whatever we may fear.give us strength and understanding, and the reassurance, too, that you're always here beside us when we put our trust in you. sometimes only god himself can help us understand when life starts going diffecently from what we may have planned when things we used to count on don't seem certain anymore,or when we're facing challenges we've never known before.sometimes only god himself can put our hearts at rest by showing that he loves us and he always knows what's best. we are keeping you close in thoughts and our prayers. mom i love you very much ,love cheryl

We were both very sorry to hear about Carl. He was such a good man with a huge heart. He married us on June 10, 2000, and we have remained in contact ever since. He was still in contact with Mat at Big L quite a bit. This has been a shot to all that knows him. We send our best to the family.
