We are so sorry for your loss. We hope you remember us because Bill had taken DJ charter fishing on the last day we were there in Traverse City during July 4th week in the summer of 2007 (unable to make it in 2008). Bill and DJ went fishing and DJ came back with Bill and showed us the fish they caught. We stayed in a cabin by yours and William played baseball with the boys on the sand and the bombfires and also the baseball game in the water with our yellow lab dog named Ginger. We had so much fun with your family and the boys would come to our cabin and play games on the playstion game. William enjoyed the fun with all the boys and DJ was right there with the boys playing and I believe his girlfriend came up to the cabin too. For only meeting him that short week we really enjoyed how well everyone got along and we hope to never forget.
Take care and you will all be in our prayers.

There are no words that can express the sorrow we feel for D.J.'s passing. He was a good, kind young man. Ashton and Kanon have great memories of the fun they had with D.J. during our extended family "get-togethers" when they were little. D.J. was always patient, kind, and willing to play with them! Dale Jeffrey DJ Hansen age 18 of Lakeview died suddenly on Monday November 10, 2008 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus Grand Rapids as a result of injuries of an auto accident in Mecosta County near Lakeview. He was born in Grand Rapids on December 29,1989 the son of Wayne L. Hansen and Lorraine M. Hartway.
