Bette, Jim, Judy and family. I was so sad when Connie called me today and told me of your loss. What a special person Jim was. I will always have very fond memories of him. I'm so glad I got a chance to talk to Jim a couple weeks ago; I'll treasure that for a long time to come. I would be there if I could, but, unfortunately, I'm down with pneumonia and could not make the trip. My thoughts and prayers will definitely be with all of you though. Kitty

Uncle Jim was my great uncle and was a kind person. He defended his country in WWII. He had a good sense of humor and a love of animals. My prayers go out to Aunt Betty and the rest of the family.

I remember Uncle Jim was our babysitter many times when we were small. He was a good man and very kind to his sister, Dorothy and her husband Herman. He made delicious potatoe pancakes.
