My sincerest condolences to the Bodeau family for the loss of their father Arthur. I can see him stopping to play golf at the first heavenly course! I have known Art for 69 years from Chrysler Engineering in 1940, then Ford Motor Company for many years- sometimes solving war ordinance problems during the war. We had many memorable, joyful times together starting at "Shangrila"- it's song "With Your Boathouse Too" we sang in imperfect harmony that Sid Terry wrote to the tune "My Maryland, My Maryland". He caused quite a laugh and boos when seated midst Michigan fans and he stood up and loudly cheered for PURDUE! So many memories- I hope to join him and sing a joyful song to the Holy Spirit when I complete God's destiny that has kept me here these 94 eventful years.

As a former Kensington Rd. neighbor, I have many memories of both Mr. & Mrs. Bodeau and all the kids. The Bodeaus were very generous in allowing all the neighborhood kids to "hang out" at their house. Happy childhood memories of nice people...

TO: Art Bodeaus Family
We just exchanged Christmas cards and were amazed when we caught the notice of Arts death notice this week.
I played golf with Art at Plum Brook Golf Club many years ago, so my acquaintance with Art goes away back. A notable memory goes back to the time I learned that he graduated from Purdue University and I mentioned that I knew of one other person , Bill Smith, who served with me in Saipan in the B-29 program during WW11. Art exclaimed the he and Bill roomed together in college. Subsequently, we contacted Bill in Cleveland and joined him in a golf date at his Club. It was a revelation on how small the world is in fact.
When Art came to Grand Rapids to retire, he called me to invite us for a luncheon date and we renewed our friendship over lunch at his retirement home.
Ageing is a trial in our life that Art handled very well and we will miss his kind concern.
Our condolences to his family.
Sincerely,
Bernard and Shirley Mulloy

Dear Bodeau/McPherson family,
So sorry to learn of the passing of "dad-dad". What a great man! I'll always remember the weekend I did the family photos in Petoskey, he always had a smile on his face, and something witty to say! Please take comfort in knowing that he is now with the Lord(and his wife!). You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Cory
