Val, Joe, Lisa, Matt and Jonathan: Takes awhile for news to reach Utah. But my thoughts and prayers are with you. Wish I was there to talk, listen to you and give you a hug. Harvey was truely a very special person. I will always remember him taking time to do fun things with his grandkids and Jonathan. He was a very special person to my kids also, especially Ami. Take care of you! My thoughts are with you.
Your old neighbor,
Nita

Lisa and Jonathan,
We will miss seeing your Grandpa mow your lawn and work in your yard. Our contact with him was minimal, but he was always a nice man and we could tell he loved you very much. Please let us (your neighbors in the blue house) know if we can help you with anything. Our prayers are with you.

Harvey was not only my Nephew but a classmate in the class of 56. I never heard him say or do anything unkind or negative. He was a real gentleman. Harvey and Lori were always so cordial and pleasant. I saw him only 2 months ago at his Mother's (and my Sister's) funeral. He looked well and we were glad to see him and Lori. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lori and family.

Lori,Family and Friends. We are praying for strength and comfort through the lost of husband, dad, and a very good friend.,There will be a vacant spot only for a short time, without Harvey's presents with us now. But for us that have asked the Lord Jesus Christ to come into one life, God has promised us that we will be togather for eternity. Yesterday is gone, today we are to be doing what the Lord has put us here for, trying to follow in His foot steps telling others about the Lord Jesus Christ who was sent here to die by His Heavenly Father who loves us and is with us all time's whenever we need his help.We live one day at a time. We enjoyed the friendship we had with Harvey during the high school years and looking forward to having fellowship again. God is so Good! Psalm 37:23 John 14:6

Lori and Family,
So very, very sorry to hear of the loss of a friend and true gentleman. Our prayers go out to you and the family. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone.
Worked with him many times at Federal-Mogul to help me design dies. Always had his own tricks to make them run better.
Also helped him to work on the float for Federal-Mogul. Enjoyed meeting some of the family and working on it with him. Also liked to meet him at actitives and to talk old times. We will miss his kind and gentle manner.
Peace be with you and the family,
Ron And Cheryl

Val, Dave, and Jerry we are so sorry to learn of your Dad's death. He was an inspiration because of his smile, his friendliness and his enthusiasm. He will be sorely missed. Through-out your Dad's life you must know how fortunate you are to have had such a positive role model and such a caring, involved father. Many family members never experience that kind of love. Our best to all of you and to your familys as a whole and please know that our thoughts are with you as is our deepest sympathy.

Dear Joe, Val and Family,
I am so sad to hear about the passing of your father, grandfather and great-grandfather. What a wonderful man. I remember as a young girl and spending countless hours hanging out with Val he was so good to all of us kids! And put up with the usual 'girlie' silliness!!
His smile would light up a room.. know that even though it is difficult not to see him or hear him, he is still with you and yet in a better place for him.

Deeply saddened by news of Harvey's passing. At first when i read the obituary, i thought why was there no mention of his huge athletic abilities at BHS. Then it hit me, his accomplishments as a man, as a friend,as a classmate,as a husband and as a father far outweighed those skills. Harvey was class all the way, in the ten years that i knew him, i never once heard a negative comment from him, from the time he graduated BHS back to the days we played softball on the smyrna and cooks corners ball fields. Dick was always so proud of him. Rest in peace my friend.

Harvey and I joined the Navy together after high school on what they called "The Buddy Plan". If you joined together, you would stay together throughout the enlistment. Once we got to boot camp, I did not see Harvey again until returning to Belding. He was in the Pacific, and I was in the Mediterranean Sea.
I swear that God will let us be buddies in Heaven, eternally. Chris and I join with those in pain over the loss of Harvey. May our love be with his family and dear friends.
