Bert M. FrostBert M. Frost age 59 of Greenville died Tuesday February 16, 2010 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus Grand Rapids. He was born in Jackson MI the son of Albert and Jewel Endfinger Frost. Bert attended Greenville High School and was drafted in the US Army in 1969 and he served overseas in Okinawa and was a member of the Michigan National Guard for 18 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 101 in Greenville and worked 31 years for Plastic Plate in Grand Rapids as a chemical analyst.He loved fishing and hunting, being a proud member of the NRA and had an obsession for his motorcycles.

He is survived by his son Jonathan and Ashley Frost of Charlotte and granddaughters Alison and Maia, his brother Roger and Darlene Frost of Stanton, sisters Joyce Higgs of Snellville, Georgia and Wanda and Anthony Sella of Comstock Park, his nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, sister in law Garnell (Cookie) Frost of Shepherd, also Jonathan's mother Linda Fountain and grandmother Emily Blattner of Greenville. Preceding him in death were his parents, his brother Ronald Frost and brother in law David Higgs. Funeral services will be held on Friday February 19 2010 at 11 AM at Hurst Funeral Home with his nephew Matthew Higgs officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.

Everyone needs to have an Uncle like Uncle Bert. He was so full of love. Blood is not thicker then water. Family are the one's that love you. I was so blessed to have Uncle Bert as part of my family. I had the fortunate opportunity to work with Bert for just about 19 years. He will be deeply missed by everyone at Plastic Plate. I personally will miss Bert's chili when he would bring it in for the crew to enjoy.
