Nancy Ann Monje age 75 of Greenville died Wednesday March 17, 2010 at Spectrum Health United Campus in Greenville.
She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on July 16, 1934 the daughter of Angus and Gladys Jacobson Long. She was married to Jack Monje in Grand Rapids on July 16 1956. Preceding her in death were her son Thomas Dale Monje in 1976, her parents and also her twin brother Thomas A. Long.
Nancy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenville and was a devoted stay at home MOM and WIFE. She volunteered her time with the American Cancer Society.
She is survived by her husband Jack, son John (Adah) Monje of Comstock Park, granddaughters , Lisa (Joshua) Twiest of Belmont and Karen (Chris) Scoles of Grand Rapids and 5 great grandchildren, Evan Thomas Scoles, Hannah Marie Twiest, Hailee Renee Scoles, Wesley George Scoles and Victoria Taylor Twiest and brother-in-law Larry (Dixie) Monje of Grand Rapids.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 20, 2010 at 11 AM at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Meade officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at Hurst Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairplains Cemetery Grand Rapids. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society
